The park service has created rough trails that go up the hillside so we can get close enough to view the carvings.

Panoramic view from Petroglyphs National Monument over suburban Albuquerque

We took the Sandia Tram to the top of Sandia Peak in Albuquerque. It was hideously cold up there but the view was pretty spectacular from both sides of the mountain.
